Lilly is more than a teddy bear. She is a symbol of hope.
The idea was born in a simple moment. I was talking with my daughter, Sunna Valdís, about all her teddy bears—she has over 100 in her room. I asked her, “Should we make a special teddy for AHC?”
She smiled and said yes.
She chose the name. She chose the color. Purple, her favorite 💜
Lilly represents children living with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC). A friend to hold, a story to share, and a reminder that we are working toward better treatments—and one day, a cure.
