2014 has been a very difficult year for our AHC family.
We have had to see too many of our loved ones go to the to the next existence.
Many of us have struggled way too much this year and this is not how it should be.
It is difficult for us to wait for new treatments while working so hard every day to care for our AHC champions, our champions that are so courageous, so sensitive, so fragile and yet so strong.
The pioneers are still the ones that are fighting the hardest for our family but we have many prominent individuals within our family that are going to have a lot to say and do in the very near future.
We encourage the new (and older) members of the family to step up and take action, don´t be afraid to let your self be heard. You can only do good things if your spirit is pure.
The work that you do will be reward enough, it feels so good to be able to help this family.
Our researchers are lining up with us in a collaboration to work hand in hand towards our ultimate goal. This is a rare thing in the research community and we should be extremely thankful to have such a fantastic group that is willing to cooperate with each other in order for our family to get to the top of this mountain as soon as possible.
We are all holding on to the same rope and walking in the same direction.
We may be 10 days away from our goal or we may just be 4 days away it all depends on the rhythm we choose to follow.
We might even take a break and enjoy the calmness of the mountain, smell the flower that will take our troubles away, at least for a while….
This flower may prove to be a very good relief for our champions and may even help them to take small individual steps towards independence.
Our guides have nothing but good news for us, the weather for the next days is good.
We have to take this information and use it to our advantage. We need to seize every opportunity we get to find the energy that will enable us to push onwards to the top.
We need our whole family to come together and work as a well-trained team.
There is so much work to be done and if we all push forward together it will be so much easier for everyone.
In spite of the hardship we have had to endure this year we are still climbing the great mountain, we are all in this together.
We are already walking in the snow and each step is difficult, sometimes the snow is frozen and we make good progress but sometimes the snow is powdery and each step feels like 50 steps. Rest assured the snow and the winds are always cold and not going to disappear, this will never be easy.
We can be thankful that we have all our gear with us, we feel safe and we feel confident that together, as a family, we will reach the top.
We thank our AHC family for yet another year.
2015 will be the year that AHC is formally introduced to the whole world through the AHC Documentary and a year that will bring us closer to our ultimate goal as a family.
We wish you a happy New Year
